About me
Hello,
my name is Nils Mandel and I´m reproducing historic and fantasy armour for combat-use, for costuming and for display since 1997 as an hobby armourer.
In the past I was in historic fencing but are now mainly live role playing. So the major part of the armour I do is for use in light and medium combat by myself.
All shown armour are made to be worn but they are not for sale.
I started this blog to give starting armourers some hints, ideas and fails they can avoid because in the past I also had the chance to learn a lot by videos and blogs of very talented people.
